2: Streamlining the Assessment in a High-Turnover Industry

Business Challenge: A client was inundated with applicants and needed an assessment that could:
1) Be administered in a short period of time and
2) Reduce turnover.
RA Solution: A customized test that was streamlined to reduce administration time. Additional items were included to better project turnover risk.
In this case, the client tested a few of their current employees on this test to get some idea of how the test was scored and to get familiar with how the scores are reported. They relied primarily on Resource Associates' prior validation research in other companies with similar jobs.
Now, when the candidate goes online, they see the client company's logo and company name which creates a very positive impression. As soon as the candidate finishes the test, a report is emailed to the client's address and that helps them make a hiring decision on the spot.
