Purpose: This test will help you choose candidates who are dependable, conscientious in carrying out their duties, friendly, pleasant, diplomatic, able to convey positive attitudes about your company to customers, not easily annoyed by difficult customers. In addition, desirable candidates will be motivated to work hard, even putting up with difficult work hours, and they will work cooperatively with other sales associates to handle customers and deal with the merchandise.
About the Test: This test battery has two parts (1) a Cashier Math test that evaluates basic arithmetic skills as well as simple math transactions typical in retail settings, (2) a 96 question personality inventory This test will probably take most people about 60 minutes to complete although it will vary from person to person because both components are untimed.
What the Report Gives You: Graphical display of scores, explanation of aptitude results and math score, list of Strengths and Developmental Concerns, and Suggested Interview Questions.
Testing Process: Online testing provides immediate reporting. Proctoring is desirable but not required.
