Pre-Employment Test



Purpose: This test is appropriate for technician-level workers in an audiology clinic where they will interact closely with patients / clients, make hearing aide adjustments, do fittings, perform repairs, help clients select the heading care product that is right for them.  So, they are knowledgeable about the technology of hearing care products and expert in relating well to customers so that they feel their needs are being met.  They also need to be effective salespeople to help clients make good choices in hearing care products.

About the Test: This test has three untimed parts, 1 timed part, and takes 2+ hours to complete.

  • An online personality test
  • An untimed test of mental ability (equally divided among verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and abstract reasoning questions)
  • A timed Mechanical Reasoning test
  • Open-ended statements to which the candidate must type in short answers.

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of scores of areas covered, display of scores for the aptitude scores, display of responses to the open-ended questions, a list of Strengths and Developmental Concerns, and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process: Online personality testing provides immediate reporting. Proctoring is desirable but not required.
